POK Group Oy and Ylä-Savo Vocational College will celebrate 10 years of partnership in Iisalmi on Friday 8.11.2024.The celebration will consist of two parts; open doors at the factory and learning environment (Lammenkaari 4, 74130 IISALMI) at 8.00-12.00, followed by an invitation reception at 13.00-16.00.

The POK & YSAO partnership allows for a flexible learning environment where learning can take place in the workplace of the institution, with real work tasks in a factory tour. Students are exposed to the world of work early in their studies in a safe and, if necessary, supported environment, which at the same time prepares them for the world of work. Over 200 students have studied in the POK & YSAO learning environment over the last 10 years, each of whom has spent about a year in the learning environment. Several dozen young people have been employed in summer jobs at POK and nearly 20 have found permanent jobs.

OPEN DOORS 8-12, where you can get to know the learning environment and the manufacture of electrical switchboards and products. Sausages and coffee with cake will be served.
